# aared (عارض) — @aared/viewer

aared is a TypeScript Office viewer, published on npm as @aared/viewer.
Browser-only, view-only previews for PPTX, XLSX and DOCX, with Arabic and other
RTL text rendered as real DOM/SVG rather than canvas pixels. Parsing runs in a
Web Worker; rendering requires a browser.

Install: `npm install @aared/viewer`. Import a documented subpath, not the root.

Fidelity is checked against native PowerPoint, Excel and Word output, with real
Arabic text and tables in every format. Fonts affect wrapping; DOCX pagination
is not Word-identical. See the API reference for supported features and limits.

## Integration notes

- Import a documented subpath such as `@aared/viewer/pptx`; the package root is not importable.
- A slide sizes itself; a sheet or a document needs an explicit host height.
- Destroy each render handle, then close the document. Hooks and the element own teardown.
- Exact signatures are in the installed declarations under `dist/`.
